Workshop: Beaded Wrist Warmers

Flashy, yet easy to knit


Join me for a one-day workshop to make these impressive wrist warmers. They are a simple garter stitch, with glass beads knit in as you go.

In the class, you will learn:

  • how to string your beads
  • how to start and finish your wrist warmer
  • how to apply a pattern as you knit your wrist warmer
  • NOTE: this class is about techniques. You will probably not complete the project in the workshop.


Materials are supplied, including:

  • merino wool yarn (choice of three colours)
  • beads
  • pattern (choice of three)
  • pair of 2 mm knitting needles

Skills need for this class are:

  • cast on/cast off
  • ability to knit garter stitch
  • ability to read a charted pattern, such as one used in colourwork


  • 10 am to 3 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2019 or
  • 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019
  • Victoria BC location to be announced, depending on class size (maximum 6)
