Wed. Jan. 22: Chihuly in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens

The Adelaide Botanical Gardens has an installation of Chihuly glassworks. It’s quite different from the installation at Kew Gardens in 2019.

Most of the pieces seemed bigger and showier.

Some were similar, but not the same.

The red reeds, for example, lined a pathway at Kew. In Adelaide, they were planted in logs laid askew.

The plants in Adelaide are very different from those I’ve seen in Northern Hemisphere gardens.

This flower could easily be a Chihuly glasswork.

The rose garden was massive.

The Adelaide Botanical Gardens has an impressive collection and is well worth a visit.
